However, I was laughing outloud. The question is, did it make me want to buy the White Sox ticket-package? Um... no!

Comment on Who's on board?

Has anyone seen the Chicago Express' logo? It is a new hockey team in the ECHL and will be playing out in Hoffman Estates. It looks a lot like the Steam's as well. Check out the logo here:

http://www.chicagoexpresshockey.com/

They need a name for their mascot. Thoughts?

Comment on Who's on board?

They need to get rid of the ball in the logo. At first glance, it looks like a beachball. It took me going to the Steam's website to realize that it is the classic ABA basketball. Even if the ball now "fits," it still looks silly because the colors are so dissimilar to the engine part of the logo.

With the ball, I give the logo a D.
Without the ball, I give the logo an A.

Comment on Who's on board?

Ah, the ABA. Do you think the person that designed the logo is a Purdue Boilermaker fan? The colors are awfully similar.

Comment on Who's on board?

I might go see the Steam once because I love basketball however for them to last for any length in time in this league, they must move into a facility that serves beer.

Comment on Go Ozzie Go!

Ozzie really must be bordering on a genius IQ. How great for all of the media coverage to focus on his rant and for him to steer it towards his choice to not resign Thome. All of a sudden, nobody is bothering Matt Thorton. He was tired and Thome was his last batter, but you can't lay a heater in there to a hitter as great as Big Jim. He did clog the bases, struck out too much to allow Ozzie to have fun with hit and runs, etc., and is a year older. Not bringing him back was the right decision. Ozzie is brilliant. Go Sox!

Comment on Candace Parker Bobblehead Day: Insult to injury

How long until we start to see sponsorship like this on the jerseys and uniforms of our major sport teams? I give it 5 years. What owner will do it first? I want to say Jerry Jones, but that uniform is too well known to tarnish. Maybe Mark Cuban. Probably a hockey dude.

Will there be outrage? Probably. If it keeps ticket prices down, I don't care. Isn't there an MLS team named after an energy drink?

Comment on Albert rules Monday Night Football

I like this concept. Right now, I am looking at J.J. Hardy, Mark Grace, Jon Toews, and Ozzie Guillen. They all look the same except Ozzie's skin is a bit darker!!!

Comment on Candace Parker Bobblehead Day: Insult to injury

Follow the thread at wnba.com.

</rdf:RDF>
